

The Alumni Relations officer will be responsible to: 1) develop a comprehensive alumni relations engagement plan that will foster a connection with alumni in partnership with Career Development and other colleges departments; 2) engage with the alumni and legal community to cultivate meaningful relationships with the college; 3) manage the annual fund using outside vendors; and 4) partner with other college departments in management of major alumni events and receptions.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required and J.D. preferred; 3-5 years experience in the legal community, alumni engagement or annual fund; experience working with technological systems and understanding of on-line social networking opportunities preferred; superior communication and interpersonal skills; strong project management skills including ideation, planning, organization, implementation monitoring and evaluation; ability to establish and maintain positive relationships; strong collaboration and teamwork skills; ability to communicate the college’s case statement to diverse constituencies in an effort to gain support; and must be able to represent the college with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity. 30-50% of time will be spent at off-campus meetings for relationship development.
