The MHBA would like to invite you to be a mentor in this years MHBA mentor program. We will be having a reception to celebrate its commencement on October 30th from 6 to 8 pm in the auditorium at William Mithell College of Law.
There are several reasons why you should participate in this program. First, because this will provide students a resource to learn more about the Latino/a legal community in Minnesota. Secondly, students will be able to make valuable relationships that will help in their present and future job search. Thirdly, students will benefit from learning more about the daily activities of the legal profession.
This program will only require that mentors meet or touch base with their students at least once a month. Also, we ask that mentors be available to give students advice and encouragement. Please fill out the attached form and return it to paola@macassi.com before October 20th so I can match you with a mentee. If you prefer you may copy and paste the attachment in an email and return to caroline.terrio@thehartford.com.
